Biography: I very much enjoy teaching and have done so in multiple settings, ranging from teaching ESL abroad to instructing youth in canoeing and high ropes courses. Environmentalism, travel, and outdoor recreation are my passions. When not at school I can usually be found biking, hiking, or trying local food spots. This year, I'm most excited about taking students on field trips to some of my favorite science spots around the DMV and facilitating some hands-on experiments.
