Biography: Lisbeth May is an experienced Spanish teacher, is a native in the language, and she has written and spoken the language in a variety of professional roles. As a Spanish teacher, she has taught at elementary public and private schools for 20 years and instructed adults for 22 years at language training centers. She is currently teaching Spanish at Saint Augustine Catholic School, in Washington, DC. She loves her native language and was born in Latin America and has lived abroad for many years. She has used Spanish as a writer and speaker, including working as a published journalist. In that role she travelled to numerous Latin American countries and interviewed and wrote about Presidents and Ministers, and CEO of leading companies. As a yoga instructor since 2013, she has taught classes in Spanish. She lives in Virginia and in her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling and dancing.
