Biography: I'm a visual artist, educator, and a compassionate leader from Prince George's County, MD with over 10 years of experience in arts administration both for-profit and non-profit organizations serving youth and adults. Throughout my journey in the arts, I developed my love for teaching and have leaned into that purpose by empowering young people to explore their creative voice through my business - Creative Compass. I lead visual arts classes, residencies, and workshops for youth in the DMV that celebrate the transformative power of art, encouraging authenticity, purpose, social-emotional awareness, and confidence. As a visual artist, I'm inspired by bold colors, patterns, nature, ancestral roots, and the work of artists throughout history. I enjoy working with multiple art materials including watercolor, oil pastel, acrylic, and clay, using each tool for experimentation. Outside of my art practice and teaching, I'm passionate about playing tennis, faith, community service, touring art exhibits, traveling, and staying connected to close family and friends. I'm grateful to be part of St. Augustine Catholic School team in supporting the development of our youth through arts initiatives.
